  1. Events bookings

3.1 The Website does not contain an online booking function. Tickets can be booked via e-mail or through a third party event organiser or website e.g. Eventbrite. Ticket payments are processed by Worldpay or other third parties. In some cases payments are taken directly by Technion UK by cheque or bank transfer. Technion UK takes no responsibility for the functionality, content or terms and conditions of these third parties and external Internet sites (see clause 8). Please refer to Worldpay, Eventbrite, or another third party’s website terms and conditions for more information.

3.2 Where tickets for events are issued to you, for security purposes, you may not re-sell or transfer the tickets. If you lose your ticket or it is stolen, entry to the event will be at our discretion.

3.3 Once you have received or purchased the ticket(s), you will not be able to return them or claim any refund. Your purchase (where applicable) will be treated as a contribution to the cost of the event.

3.4 We will only offer you a refund if an event is cancelled and is not rescheduled within a reasonable time or you are unable to attend the rescheduled event. Any refunds payable will be paid to the person who purchased the ticket.

3.5 Due to the nature of the events, if a guest speaker is unable to attend an event (for example, as a result of illness) or the event must otherwise be altered as a result of circumstances beyond Technion UK’s control, Technion UK will not provide you with a refund of the price paid for your ticket.

3.6 You consent to the filming, photography or otherwise recording of your attendance at the event and to our use of such material in future publicity.
