Roy Kishony

Roy Kishony is the Marilyn and Henry Taub Professor of Life Sciences in the Faculty of Biology at the Technion.

Prof. Kishony’s lab has made a number of ground-breaking discoveries, demonstrating how some drug interactions can select against resistance. His lab has also pioneered unique experimental and theoretical methodologies for tracking whole-genome evolution of pathogenic bacteria. These discoveries have inspired novel treatment paradigms for effective antimicrobial chemotherapy and genome-based diagnostics.
