Technion UK invites you to a special evening marking 78 years since the founding of the State of Israel.
This unique event tells the remarkable story of the Technion – Israel’s first university and only Institute of Technology – from its visionary beginnings in 1923 to its role today as one of the world’s leading scientific institutions. Through music, stories, film and personal reflections, the evening explores how education, innovation and resilience helped shape the State of Israel and influence the world.

An outstanding line-up of hosts and performers will guide the evening:
- Rob Rinder – Host of the evening
- Israel Ernest – Israeli singer and performer, whose credits include Les Misérables, My Fair Lady and Chicago
- Mark Maier – Award-winning writer and stand-up comedian from the UK and international comedy circuit
- Robert Rinder MBE – British criminal barrister and television personality
- Noa Bodner – Accomplished Israeli singer and theatre actress, known for her performance in Fiddler on the Roof
- Col Richard Kemp – Featured speaker
- Roi Erez – Pianist and guitarist
- Bet Zvi Singers – Special guest performers
With a special video message from the President of Israel.
Together, they will bring to life the voices of students, faculty and supporters across generations, celebrating Technion’s impact on science, society and the modern State of Israel.
